THE PARTICIPATING ARTISTS
........................................................................................

Harold Daniels
Harold Daniels is an Atlanta based photographer who relishes the challenge to blur the distinctions of commercial and fine art photography. True to his southern roots, Harold considers himself a story teller of sorts and finds beauty in often unexpected ways, embracing a subject and visually make the most of each story to be told. Best known for his editorial portrait and fashion work, he also has a uniquely creative eye for landscapes and still life’s - some of which appear in this exhibition. www.harolddaniels.com

Robert DeLoach
Robert DeLoach grew up in a suburb of Atlanta, GA and while athletics where the mainstay of his childhood, his love of Art (painting) was always on the back-burner. A serious change of events occurred late in his young adulthood causing him to embrace and heal through his art work. This has allowed him to participate in several shows within galleries and for charitable organizations within the Southeast US. Robert loves to work in collaboration with other artists and has recently produced work with an Atlanta-based Photographer, Nina Lakatos.

Jeff Doud
Jeff Doud has been painting for 14 years and is currently seeking his MFA at the Vermont College of Union University. An actively working Creative Director for television design and production of graphics and visual effects. A three time EMMY award winner for network brand campaigns, show openings and commercials, Jeff has relied on the understanding of human psychology as it relates to consumer brand building and is utilizing this power to respond aggressively to the world around us through his art. The professional disciplines of problem-solving and hard deadlines are being transferred to a vital existence of observation and response driven by personal artistic objectives. The constant stream of ideas born from active participation in the culture provides a rich ambience from which individual new-found substance and connectivity are realized in the studio. The work displays a playful symbolism, primitive vigor and a deep-rooted West Coast youthful exuberance for life.

Tom Key
Tom Key grew up in an artistic household; his father is a painter and his sister an illustrator. Like his father, Tom is a self-taught artist, learning composition and style from his surroundings. Tom uses only traditional cameras, including a 30-year old Hasselblad, a 1950’s Nikon Rangefinder and a 15-year old Nikon he borrowed from his wife.

Tom is an avid traveler, leaving for business and pleasure whenever he can. Over the past few years he has taken numerous trips to Asia, Europe and South America. Lately however, Tom has been staying close to home, due to the arrival of his twin daughters. As you will see, the majority of Tom’s recent work has been focusing on Atlanta. However, Tom has been able to finish his “ALPHABET & NUMBERS of NYC” series - a collection of impulsive photographs of letters and numbers on the island of Manhattan. Tom feels that photography is a medium for recording and interpreting meaningful scenes and natural spaces, particularly those that people will probably never see again. He prefers black and white photography to emphasize composition and mood, allowing the viewer to add his or her own “color.” He utilizes simple equipment and simple developing, but work for unique results.

Jeromie Neidlinger

Jeromie Neidlinger was born in Savannah and raised in the southern part of Alabama before relocating to Atlanta in 1993. After breaking away as creative director of an interactive firm, he started his own web design company Primary Theory which allowed more time for his dual passions. His paintings have been exhibited in galleries and alternative spaces throughout the Southeast United States. Showing Internationally last spring with the TransAtlantic Exhibition held in Berlin, Germany.

"Thoughtlessly lost in the act, I may not understand a specific purpose, but the outcome associates itself with a certain mood or emotion. In this association I find personal reflection. A certain level of individualism in a group association. Bringing with it a glimpse of understanding how my own life contributes to a larger picture. Not very different to how atoms, pine needles, streets, flower stems and people all relate to one another. This relationship forms a moment in time we may not be able to comprehend, but through the process of growth, it enables us to interpret a past with hopes of shaping our future while living in the present."

Whitney Wolf

Whitney Wolf was born and raised in Atlanta and has since continued to
work both in Atlanta and afar. His studies in painting have taken him to the prestigious Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. It is only in giving up himself completely to the work in which he finds himself; his style. His works are not statements, nor explanations, but rather deeply spiritual interpretations, yet gravely human. His studies have advanced him into the academic art of the modern era. The work is beautifully cunning, artistically refined, brutally charged, honest, and funny enough, something we can all relate to.
