a Caribbean menu of heavy hors d'oeuvres and island-style music. The

"Departures" by William Woolfolk
In this process driven work, multiple layers of acrylic paint and varnish
are built up and sanded down on either paper or canvas. This technique
yields surface textures that capture the dynamic underlying energy of
each piece. William focuses on the elements of line, shape, texture and
color in building lively compositions that strive toward balance and unity
without sacrificing spontaneity and chance.
