September 28, 2006; Atlanta, GA – Gallery Eleven50 presents an exhibition of contemporary, abstracted works of Atlanta based artist Grady Haugerud.

The exhibition, titled “Environment – The Art of Grady Haugerud” centers around the artist’s love of nature and the unexpected beauty that he finds in his surroundings.

“The exhibition conveys Grady’s sentient relationship with nature and the serene images are very thought provoking,” says Dorothéa Bozicolona-Volpe, curator for Midtown’s Gallery Eleven50. “The exhibition of his body of abstract work fits perfectly with the objectives of Gallery Eleven50 to bring fresh, emerging, provocative art to Altanta’s cultural center in Midtown.”

The exhibition opens Friday, October 6th with a reception party from 8:00 – 10:00 pm and continues through November 4th. For more information click here

Grady Haugerud is the 2005 recipient of the Emerging Artist of the Year Award, Forward Arts Foundation, Atlanta, GA. He has showed work in both solo and group shows at prestigious museums like Museum of Modern Art, Jacksonville, FL, and Museum of Contemporary Art Georgia (MOCA GA).

Grady’s works are exhibited in galleries and museums in Atlanta, GA .
